Subject Matter Expert: Arlyn Thobaben, PT, DPT, OCS.
Arlyn graduated from the University of Florida Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2012. She is a specialized clinician with experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient settings. She has completed advanced training in orthopedics, practice management, bariatrics, pelvic health, trigger point dry needling, and lifestyle medicine. Arlyn has worked as a clinic director in the outpatient and telehealth settings for the past 5 years, and enjoys mentoring orthopedic residents and future clinical leaders. Arlyn is an established continuing education author with contributions in lumbopelvic, obesity, and post-COVID-19 coursework for rehab professionals.
Subject Matter Expert: Tiffany Shubert, PT, PhD
Dr. Shubert has a Master’s in Physical Therapy from UC San Francisco/San Francisco State University and a PhD in Human Movement Science from UNC Chapel Hill. She is a licensed physical therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has taught in pre and post-professional DPT programs and is a funded researcher with 35 peer-reviewed publications. The majority of her research has focused on evidence-based fall risk management and the dissemination and implementation of the Otago Exercise Program.
