Subject Matter Expert: Elissa Redding BSN, RN-MedSurg-BC
Elissa has 16 years of med/surg experience. Elissa obtained her Medical-Surgical Certification in 2010. As a Med/Surg nurse educator, Elissa worked with leaders to plan, develop, coordinate, and deliver nursing orientation education during the onboarding processes. She has provided in-services and continuing education for nursing and other healthcare personnel across multiple medical, surgical, tele, oncology, and outpatient units in the Denver market at multiple facilities. As a current corporate educator for a national wound and hyperbaric company, Elissa has created education content and continuing education learning resources to assist the staff in their training and professional development. She has a passionate commitment to adult education and creating a climate that supports learning. Elissa has served as an educational resource to inter-professional teams, leaders, and stakeholders to facilitate nursing practice and positive healthcare outcomes.
