Group Therapy: Guidelines and Implementation

Group therapy has a unique role in rehabilitation and can be an effective addition to your individual therapy interventions to maximize the total dose of therapy received. The job of the rehabilitation therapist is to determine the clinical value of group therapy to each individual patient, identify the appropriate group therapy intervention, and be able to justify the clinical need for this intervention through documentation.
