Therapy Delivery Models: Individual, Group, Concurrent, and Co-Treatment

The use of a combination of service delivery models, individual, group, concurrent, and co-treatment, can help therapists individualize their treatment approach based on each patient’s needs and maximize the total dose of therapy that patients receive while using resources appropriately and efficiently. Therapists must use their clinical judgment to determine which patients are appropriate and likely to benefit from which treatment type. This course will define each treatment model available to implement in various care settings and highlight the patient characteristics, treatment goals, and documentation and billing requirements for each. Current evidence regarding the benefits and limitations of each delivery model is presented.
