Introduction to Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping (KT) is a technique that rehabilitation and athletic training professionals can use in a variety of clinical situations with proper training and education. KT has been shown as an effective treatment option for patients with specific clinical presentations. Clinicians must be able to identify patients most appropriate for KT and document the use of this intervention to receive reimbursement. This introduction course will discuss the basic principles and concepts of KT, current research regarding its use, and how to apply KT to your patients with various clinical presentations.
